Weatherford Soccer Club Board Meeting 5.7.25 – City Hall

Call to Order – Randa, Joe seconds. 8:04 PM

Approval of Minutes – Skylar motions to table the minutes until next month,

Randa seconds. ALL IN FAVOR.

Financial Report- Balance $49,209.49

Randa motions to approve the financials, Joe seconds. ALL IN FAVOR.

Field Maintenance –

Holes need to be refilled. Erin talked to the City and we are good to fill the holes

with sand.

Goal boxes are getting worn out

Equipment Needs –

Nothing at this time other than possibly an Ice maker or fridge

Fundraising –

Johnathan will work on it in June.

Add tautfest field sponsorships to fields they sponsor.

Competitive/Academy –

A. Structure of next year –

B. Try-outs – 3-4 coaches helping, 1 person run the sessions and 4 evaluate it. 3

sessions, 6, 7:15 & 8:30 PM. Mix the genders. The person running the sessions

will be the one getting the next group formed up and started.

Help with light concessions and registration.

June 5th – Austin, Chandler, Jeff, Sarah

June 7th – 9:30, 11:30 & 1:30 – Randa, Skylar, Amanda, Sarah

A. When to start advertising – need to order brochures

B. Structure of the program – keep U6 the same, keep festivals on same date and

don’t move them. Make teams sign up to do concessions on certain time slots. Add refs back to

U6.

Futsal

A. Need to start advertising/blasting

B. Tournament? – July 25th, 26th & 27th. Randa makes a motion, Skylar seconds

that motion. ALL IN FAVOR.

Make teams again for futsal.

Top Soccer

Maybe host a TOPSoccer clinic during a school day to get them excited to come

to TOPSoccer evenings.
