Weatherford Soccer Club Board Meeting 6.4.25 – Mike Brown Event Center/Futsal Building

Call to Order –
Attendance: Lauren Ellis, Julie Bradley, Jeff Macha, Erin Hinton, Chase Huser, Joe Bradley, Amanda Currier
Cole Huber Resigned from the board as registrar Jenna taking over
Mykala resignes as Secretary Julie taking over
Lauren resignes as Treasurer need to find a replacement
Skylar’s going to remain as field maintenance
Need to find someone to take over concessions
Talk to Randa about being VP and Joe being director of Coaching
Erin makes a motion to set the Annual meeting for June 25th at 7:30
We will need to make sure and get that out so 1 representative from each team can be here at least and let them know at least 2 weeks prior to it. No banquet just do the election.

Motion: Lauren motions to approve May minutes
Seconded: Erin seconds it all in favor
Financial Report: Current balance is $44,927.41
Joe motions to approve Jeff seconds it all in favor
Field Maintenance: Joe talked to golf course and if we coordinate with them they can come and do it when they do it out at the golf course. Reach out to Terrill to see if they could help with top soil of the fields as well.
Figure out something for goals on field 1.
Equipment Needs:
Registration Banners- In storage
Fundraising- no updates
Competitive/Academy- 1st ID day went good. Older group was bigger than expected. Check to see if Futsal building is available from both Thursday and Saturday in case of rain.
Schedule coaches meeting on Saturday after tryouts
Recreational Soccer: Start getting banner put out and start promoting it.
Futsal: We will refund everyone that registered and just set open play nights throughout the week. Do open play on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
Monday: U4, U6, U8 Starting at 6:30-7:30 Structured 7:30-8:30 Open Play
Tuesday: U10, U12, U14 Starting at 6:30-7:30 Structured 7:30-8:30 Open Play
Thursday: Open Play all ages 6:30-8:30 Open play
Start June 16th and go through the week of August 4th
Joe makes a motion to refund all registrants Jeff seconded the motion all in favor.
Top Soccer: we are going to have to start registering our Top Soccer athletes so they are covered under insurance.
Coaching Education: Weekly meeting with coaches, see if Randa is interested in switching roles with Joe as coaching director and Randa becoming VP
Referees: Amanda reached out to Jonathan McDermott about setting up the referee course. He said that they don’t do field sessions outside Tulsa and metro area on weekdays. She is working with him on finding a weekend that will work around tournaments. Once she has a date we will start promoting it.
